Scripting is a manifestation exercise alternative to visualisation or guided meditations, that's ideal for anyone who struggles to engage with the "mind’s eye." It's a component of the Law of Attraction that entails writing out the life you want using the present tense. By simply imagining yourself in the future, the scripting manifestation technique brings a specific goal into your current reality using written words. In doing so, you are essentially changing an event’s timeline through your words and the vibration you are sending out. Additionally it channels your creative energy in a specific way activating the Sacral Chakra, which balances out any blocks you may have there regarding the power to achieve what it is you’re asking for. Scripting helps you fully feel into the emotions and energy of what you want, which makes it super powerful. It allows you to explore your desires in detail, helps you to get really clear about what you want to manifest, and get to the bottom of why you are asking for this in the first place.
How to practice scripting:
1. Write in the present tense ~ whilst it may be tempting to write in the future, your script will be more powerful if written in the present. This way you are shifting the vibration around you and are engaging with the emotions you stir up by feeling as though this is already in your reality.
2. Believe in your story ~ as is the case with most manifestation techniques, scripting won’t work if you don’t believe in your story. When writing down exactly what you want to achieve, lean into the process to help make it feel all the more real. If it helps, start with something you can believe and work your way up. Know though that there is no such thing as a "big" or "small" manifestation where the Universe is concerned, it is all in our mindset.
3. Avoid coming from a place of need and attachment ~ the script shouldn’t be based on what you lack or don’t have, or indeed from a place of comparison, jealousy, ego or FOMO. Manifestation will truly work when your soul and heart are aligned with it.
4. Keep a record to refer to past manifestations ~ saving your scripts so you can go back and check in with them is a great way to continue setting and resetting your intentions. An easy way to ensure this is through consistent practice, and carving out time for focusing on manifestation work.
